Female genital mutilation is well known for the infliction of health and other hazards on girls and women. However, very little is known about the psychosexual effect of FGM on Sudanese women (Abdel Magied and Musa, 2002) and there is hardly any literature on Sudanese men. Accordingly, the present investigation was carried out as one of the attempts for covering one of the many research gaps whose bridging is of utmost importance for the identification of indicators for the effective interventions targeting abolition of FGM practice.
